Whether a Theme park, Farm park, Care Home, School, College or a Shopping centre, a Calming Space from immersive Creations, allows your environment to be inclusive and respectful of the need to provide a quiet, safe and calm space.

 

Moving away from traditional decoration and flooring, our calming spaces have been designed to remove any stigma and stereotypes and acknowledges that everyone can benefit from allowing themselves time to breathe and de-stress

Theme Parks and Family Farm Parks

Theme Parks and Family Farm Parks offer a wealth of exciting activities and attractions for all ages, however, the high noise levels and unpredictable events, can be extremely traumatic for children and adults with conditions such as Autism.

 

Often, people with ‘hidden’ conditions miss out on events such as visiting Santa in his Grotto due to high levels of anxiety that can be difficult to overcome. Providing a calming space will offer a much-needed quiet space for a child with Autism to de-escalate, respecting their dignity and ensuring their self-esteem is not compromised. By immersing themselves in this dedicated space, a person is able to take some ‘positive time out’ to calm and lower their anxiety levels using the calming lighting, visuals and music effects.

 

This inclusive space offers families the opportunity to fully experience all the Park has to offer, instead of missing out on certain events that their child finds simply too stressful.

 

A calming space also provides the opportunity to earn extra income by renting the space to therapists for activities such as Baby Yoga, Baby Massage, Music Time, and Professional Counsellors. The space is the perfect environment for children and adults to feel calm, relaxed and de-stress, promoting well-being and positive mental health.

Schools and Colleges

For schools and colleges, a calming space will provide an inclusive space for children and young people to relax, helping to ensure their participation and involvement in everyday school life. School and College can be an extremely challenging time for children and young people coping with bereavement and loss, Autism, ADHD and other conditions. Providing a calming space in your School or College allows the child or young person to take ‘time out’ when they need it, reducing the risk of exclusions and helps the child or young person to reach their full potential.

Shopping can be an extremely stressful time for children with conditions such as Autism. They can be very noisy, over visually stimulating environments. They are unpredictable and often a child, young person or adult will feel their personal space is repeatedly invaded and all of this may lead to an unpleasant shopping experience.

 

Providing a Calming Space allows shoppers to retreat to a quiet, calm and relaxing environment where they can de-escalate and reduce their stress levels, creating a positive shopping experience. These areas will promote inclusion in shopping centres and the space can be used by children and adults alike who are in need of some ‘time-out’ and would like to relax, chill-out and take care of their emotional well-being.
