About Us

 

Following a successful career in Stage Productions, Managing Director Ian Haylett, decided to launch a new company that primarily focussed on the Halloween Industry, in particular Scare Attractions. Having seen how huge the industry was in America, Ian was determined to replicate the success in the UK and Europe.

2003 saw the first real shift towards Theme Parks and Farm Parks offering Halloween Attractions only seen in the USA before then. We had started the wheels in motion for a new kind of entertainment which the public have continued to enjoy.

 

In 2009, FunFear was born and the company has continued to go from strength to strength. 

​

Alongside this, FunFear also continued to transfer their skill base to Christmas and Easter Attractions, as well as Stage and Lighting Productions.

 

In 2017, FunFear proudly became the sole UK & European Distributor for the world famous Froggy's Fog. Adding to the already impressive product lines at our disposal and offering a first class effects fluids range that has so many unique qualities which are rarely seen in the UK market. Later that year we also added to the smoke, and haze fluids with the full line up of scent additives and snow & bubble fluid.

 

As a result of their continued success and development, This year, FunFear Ltd will continue to operate in the Halloween sector as a division of Immersive Creations Ltd.

Immersive Creations Ltd will, working in partnership with our clients, continue to create exciting and innovative new attractions. Maintaining the core values of FunFear, Immersive Creations Ltd will continue to deliver high quality attractions with visitor and staff safety always paramount.

This year, we are excited to launch our new Sensory and Calming Room designs, with our exclusive studio opening in Autumn 2019. This year, we have also launched new Lighting and Audio Systems as well as unveiling our pioneering 'E.S.C.A.P.E' Safety Guidance for Escape Rooms and Attractions.
